Today’s Reading:
Psalm 93:2, 1 Kings 2:1-12, Eph.2:1-7
The reign of governments on earth is time bound. No government on this planet earth reigns forever. When going down the memory lane, the seat/base of the government in Nigeria shifted from Lagos to Abuja. In the same manner many kings have had to move their palaces to other locations to make life convenient and more serene. This causes a lot of bloody fights between many kingdoms; but no one, no spirit has power to fight God for His ancient and ever existing Kingdom (Throne), Satan tried it but he was banished and completely condemned.
The reigning kings are limited with their jurisdictions and boundaries, but God’s Kingdom (Throne) is spread throughout the universe while that of the earthly kings are constrained and restricted. God is the ancient and ruling King whose Government controls the kings and the governing council of this world. He reigns forever – his Kingdom has no end. As the kings and powerful influential people die, God remains immortal. Therefore, immortal God has power to reign over your life – ask him to stop the ruling darkness of your life. He only wants you to join the wagon of His Kingdom; do not separate yourself from Him and you will be the one to represent his Kingdom (1 Kings 2:1-12) as you will be part of His ruling Government. (Eph. 2:1-7).
OLOYEDE SUNDAY OYEDELE
Prayer:
Father, encourage, strengthen, empower and unite Your Church at this period of persecution, in Jesus name.
Violent angels from heaven, arise and rescue every prisoner of the kidnappers, in Jesus name.
Father, visit the core area of severe oppression and persecution, strengthen Your children all over the world, especially in our nation Nigeria and Israel to persevere through trials and embolden us to face opposition to the gospel, even where death steers us in the face, in Jesus name.
Father, use this oppression, persecution to win souls for your kingdom, in Jesus name.
Every captive of the enemies of this nation be released by fire, in Jesus name.
By the power that divided the red sea and destroyed Goliath, let every agent of terror be destroyed, in Jesus name.
