A happy person is a pleasurable person, a person with contentment, he or she can also be described as a person who has the joy or the Lord as he or her strength. In Roman 4:6, the psalmist described a happy man as one who God accepts as righteous whether or not the person merits it, a man whose sins are forgiven and pardoned.
The joy of the Lord is one without conditions or restrictions because it’s source is of the Lord, it’s not elicited, it comes solely from the spirit and it is fuelled by God himself. Abraham was accepted by God as a righteous man not because he befits it but because God gives this righteousness for free, he was given happiness with no condition and restrictions but by reason of His faith in God that made him believe in God without questioning God’s order and command. Happiness comes to those who obey the Lord’s commandments without questioning or rebelling, the contentment and fulfilment in obedience to God, doing good and being faithful to the Lord is what draws out happiness from the inside of believers, a form of joy that is not of this world (Psalm 128). In Proverbs 16:7-9, the Bible explains how peace comes to a man, it comes simply by pleasing the Lord, happy is that man who the Lord accepts as righteous by reason of faith in him.
A happy man is one who:
Righteousness is inputted by God not earned (Eph 2:9-10)
Has obtained forgiveness of sins( Romans 4:8)
Has faith in the Lord most high (Roman 4:11).
Is obedient to the Lord (psalm 128:1, psalm 1:1-2)
Draws his or her strength from the Lord (Nehemiah 8:10)
What happiness is not:
Happiness is not sin.
Happiness is not of the world (Jer. 17:5)
Happiness is not in worldly clothing, shoes, bags and so on.
Happiness is not greed or inequality.

Prayers:
Father give me the grace to always draw my strength from constantly obeying you. Amen
Jesus help me to say no to the things of the world that look like happiness but are not.
Father help me to be able to choose you always over the things of this world. Amen
Father help your church to always glory in your power and majesty always. Amen
This country is experiencing signs and wonders that will make her see the joy of the Lord. Amen.
